To the northwest, the Montreal skyline was faintly visible.


I flew out over the town. People yelled or waved to me from their porches or back yards, and I waved back.




The Richelieu river was dotted with small boats. The wind carried me across to Iberville, the portion of Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu on the eastern shore.
